HOW WILL I LEARN?

You will have a mixture of classroom-based subjects,  mandatory work placement  and independent study. You will be expected to complete assignments throughout the year. Course work will consist of a combination of onsite & online learning

*Delivered through blended learning, as this will enhance the learner’s involvement, participation and understanding of the modules to provide the learners with a richer learning environment with the addition of flexibility to observe industry standard practice while on work experience.

HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED?

A full Award is granted on passing the relevant eight components. You will be assessed throughout and at the end of the year (Continuous Assessment and examinations). On successful completion of each component, you will be awarded a Pass, a Merit or a Distinction grade.

This Beauty course is ideal for students who wish to advance their current Beauty Qualifications and further their career within the Beauty Industry. Cathal Brugha FET. also provides in-house workshops for advanced facial treatments, such as, the IPL Skin Rejuvenation and Dermalogica Skincare.

• Must already hold or be in the process of completing ITEC / VTCT Beauty Specialist diploma or QQI Level 5 Beauty Therapy or equivalent.
